Courtney Ferguson
Courtney Ferguson (Performer) began taking dance at the age of four and began teaching dance at the age of fifteen. She is currently the dance department chair at Frenship High School where she teaches jazz, tap, and coaches the pom squad. She joined FDT in the fall of 2016 and has loved the collaboration and performance opportunities that this company has brought into her life. Courtney has spent the last fourteen years choreographing for Frenship's all fine arts musicals where she has created movement for shows like "Big Fish," "Cinderella," Anything Goes," Thoroughly Modern Millie," and "Anastasia." She received a master's degree in education in 2009 and most recently graduated with a master's in dance studies from Texas Tech University in May 2023. She loves community theatre, all things art, and her FDT family for giving her a safe place to do what she loves.
