Melissa Brading
Melissa Brading (Performer) is a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She received her MFA in dance from the University of Michigan and her BFA from the University of Central Oklahoma. After dancing for Ad Deum Dance Company in Houston, TX, she spent 12 years in New York City as a freelance artist, where she worked with choreographers such as Hope Boykin, Nejla Yatkin, Sarah Council, Sue Bernhard and Kathryn Alter to name a few. She also choreographed in dance and theatre and participated in outreach through Avodah Dance. She taught Limón technique with the Limón Institute and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan. Melissa is currently an Assistant Professor of Practice in Dance at Texas Tech University.
